Q2. Can I change my User ID and Password for MKE trade?
For security purposes, clients are advised to change their password every 3 months.
To change your MKE trade password, log in to MKE trade and click on the ‘Application menu’ icon located at the top right-hand corner of the page then click on ‘Change Password’.
Please note that your MKE trade User ID cannot be changed.
Q3. What happens if I forget my User ID and Password for MKE trade?
If you have forgotten your User-ID or would like to request for a new password, please call Customer Services at (65) 6432 1888. In the case of a new password, it will be sent to your email address* in our records.
Alternatively, you may complete the Request for New Password form and email it to helpdesk@maybank-ke.com.sg. Upon successful verification of your signature, a new password will be sent to your mailing address* stated on the request form (within 1-2 working days).
*Note: Despatch of new password via email is only available if you have a local mobile number and valid email address. Otherwise, the new password will be sent by post to your mailing address in our records.

Alternatively, you can add a Watchlist Widget to your personalized layout to access your watchlist.
Q4. How do I buy/sell a stock?

Q1. How do I add a widget?
Create a new worksheet by clicking +New > Add a widget
Q2. Can I change the color theme?
On the top right hand corner, select color > Dark or Light theme
Q3. Why are some widgets not appearing in MKE trade?
If some widgets are not appearing correctly (e.g. widget only shows abbreviation), there might be a need to resize the widget or change the screen resolution screen.
Widgets can also be stacked for layout optimization and quick access.
Widgets can be stacked by (i) clicking on the menu item in the top right hand corner and selecting new widget or (ii) drag and drop a widget over an existing widget.
The new widget will appear as an additional tab.
A widget can also be detached and extended to another display by clicking on the menu item on the top right hand corner and selecting detach.
Q4. How do I use the right click functionality in MKE trade?
MKE trade has no right click functionality – instead common actions can be accessed by mouse-over and clicking on the inline action button beside the security code. Quick actions include order creation and alert setting.
Q1. Where can I find Global Indices?
You can find global indices in the Quote Ticker widget.
Alternatively, you can search for /INDEXGLOBAL in the Watchlist module.
Q2. How many counters can I set in MKE trade Watchlist?
There is no limit to the number of counters you can set in a MKE trade watchlist. You may set and save up to 50 Watchlists.
Q3. Is there a limit to the number of Worksheets and Widgets that can be set in MKE trade?
You may set and save up to 8 worksheets. There is no restriction to the number of widgets you can add in a worksheet but you can only stack up to 3 widgets
Q4. What does the Autosave button do?
The autosave button will appear after you have saved your watchlist. When the autosave button is enabled, any counters you add/remove will be saved by MKE trade.
Q5. How do I add more columns (information) to my Watchlist?
Select the Configure table button on the left hand side of the Watchlist widget > select the required information from the hidden columns > Save Changes
Q6. How do I know if a stock is under CPFIS?
You can find the status for CPF approved stocks under the ‘Notes’ column. Value ‘CP’ indicates that stock is under CPFIS.
Q7. How do I know if a stock is Marginable?
You can find a stock’s marginable status under the ‘MS’ column.
M = marginable, NM = non-marginable.
Marginable status is displayed for Margin accounts only.
Q8. Where do I find XD/CD status?
Under the ‘Basis’ column.
Q9. Where do I find the equilibrium price?
Under the ‘MPrc’ column.
Q1. How do I save my charts?
Charts can be saved by clicking ‘save as’. When loaded, both stock code and indicators will be retrieved and displayed.

MKE trade provides real-time portfolio for transactions done via the platform itself. It enables you to monitor your realised/unrealised profit and loss status in real-time when your buy and sell orders are filled during the trading day.
Please note that the shares shown under MKE trade portfolio is not a reflection of your share holdings in CDP/CPF investment bank/SRS operator. To mitigate the possibility of any short sale, please refer to your latest positions held with The CDP/CPF Investment Bank/SRS operator prior to any sale of stocks or shares.

For foreign shares traded with Maybank Kim Eng, you can find your Custody holdings under ‘AvailVolume’ in Portfolio widget.
For SGX shares, please note that the shares shown under MKE tradeportfolio is not a reflection of your share holdings in CDP/CPF investment bank/SRS operator. Q1. What are the electronic trading risks which I need to take note of?
1. Live Prices
Speed and quality of internet connection will affect the performance and accuracy of live prices in the online trading platforms and mobile trading applications. It is recommended to use broadband internet connection for online trading.
2. Password
Always keep your internet trading password confidential and change it regularly. Clear your browser’s cache and history after each session so that your account information is removed. You are advised against using the “Auto Complete” function of your browser to save your User ID and Password as this function stores and lists possible matches from entries that you have typed previously.
3. Virus, Spywares and Adwares
Always install your computer/mobile with the latest anti-virus software and spyware program. Regularly scan your computer/mobile to quarantine and delete any Virus / Spyware / Adware that may be present. Avoid downloading programs and email attachments from suspicious unknown sources.
4. Phishing
Phishing is an act of acquiring sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. It is typically carried out by email or instant messaging, and often directs users to enter details at a website.
NEVER reveal your password to anyone. Be suspicious of any email or instant message asking you to provide sensitive account information. If you receive such emails or instant message, do not reply or click on the links in the email or instant message.
5. Wireless Network
Wireless networking works by sending information over radio waves, it can be more vulnerable to intruders. Below are some ways to keep your wireless network secure:
- Make your own unique and difficult-to-guess SSID (Service Set Identifier)
- Change the default administrator password and username for your router
6. Orders
In the electronic trading world, you may encounter situations where you are unable to withdraw erroneous orders in time due to the speed of the internet connection, or experience delays in order transmission and confirmation of order execution.

Q3. What is a Trade at Close (TAC) Session in the Singapore Exchange (SGX)?
With effect from 3 June 2019, SGX will be introducing a new “Trade at Close” (TAC) session. The 10-minute-long TAC session will immediately follow the closing auction routine and will allow participants to execute orders at the Closing Auction Price (CAP) set during the closing auction routine.
The extended trading phase, TAC, will enable participants to transact at an already-established closing price. Investors and brokers who desire price certainty or those looking to fill an order that was not completely transacted during the closing routine will benefit from the new TAC session.
